Farewell

Dear Family of Elder Bush,

It is with some sadness that we say farewell to Elder Owen Bush who has served faithfully and diligently in the North Carolina Raleigh Mission.  We have come to know and love your son and have enjoyed working and serving alongside him and watching him grow and learn more about our Savior Jesus Christ.   We will miss him but know that this is an important and exciting step into his next phase of life.

While serving in the NCRM, Elder Bush has been faithful, and his efforts to bear testimony of the Savior and the restoration of the gospel have touched people all over the mission – non-members, members, and fellow missionaries alike.  This influence will be felt through the eternities by those with whom he has labored.  We trust that this time will serve as a firm foundation for Elder Bush, reverberating through his life, those of his family and generations to come.

We hope and pray that you as a family have been blessed in some small way as your missionary has served the people of Raleigh, North Carolina. Elder Bush has certainly blessed our lives and we know that God has been appreciative of his missionary efforts and consecration.

Although we are saying farewell, we know that great things lie ahead for Elder Bush as he embarks on work, service, study, and dating.  We have attached our departing photos just before we said farewell.  We thank you for supporting your missionary in the NCRM and please know that we appreciate his service in building up the kingdom in this part of His vineyard and look forward to hearing of special future events in his life.

We love Elder Bush and will miss him greatly.  May God bless him for his sacrifice until we meet again.

Much love,

President and Sister Stevens
