THAT WE CAN GO TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  AND WORK OUT. Yes. Maybe a normal man would say "hey neat, a gym we can go to. To work out" But not me *beats chest* I do like my weights. I may not be a talented lifter but I have fun. And that's what matters. So updates there, I deadlifted 375 so I'm at 915 for the 1000lb club *beats chest* mmmmm  Yes maybe one day I'll be  a strong boy K so that's mostly it.  The ward here is very small and filled with old people. It also always smells like rotten eggs here because of the paper mill which absolutely blows. BUT. On the plus side, we have at least 9 local fried chicken places so I can get my dirty bulk on.  Jk I'm not the biggest fried chicken guy so maybe it's not really a plus. Subject: Welcome back to ignoring my fantasy team  I'm going to pretend my ff team is doing well.  It's in good hands->     any hands but mine.  I have a vague memory of my brother hacking into my yahoo sports account like a pro gamer, so he could change some stuff. I don't know which brother, and I don't know what he changed but hopefully he is reading this right now and he feels guilty enough to Change my team back. And unbench all my best players or trade them back. Anyways it doesn't matter. There's always next season. Heyooo  I hit 5 months of being a missionary in like 4 days.  My tie is suffering. Still in good shape but a little rough around the edges.  Also tons and tons of miracles happened this week, and you might say to yourself "how come no miracles happened to me?" And I would say back. Well son, it's because you never put the toilet paper roll back on the springy thingy holder. And then you would realize you've been just been putting the empty toilet paper tube on the sink so the next person would see it and have to change it.  It's almost as bad as just leaving one square on the roll left. That's just a slap in the face. Those people are going to outer darkness.  Yeah so me and Elder Yardley have done so much finding that our app is just full of people we barely know. Now he gets to sort through all of them and give them the word. I don't have to because I'm leaving! That's right I'm starting a new chapter of life here in NC! I'm gonna have this random broski and he's going to be my companion. And we will do missionary work in another area that's not Smithfield. Yes. Subject: *67  shoutout to all the weather forecasters for being bunk. YOU LIED.  I WANTED A HURRICANE  On my momma I would rather get  a door slammed my foot with toothpicks in my toenails, then sit in the apartment and make cold calls. Anyways Elder Yardley and I have been working hard on getting members in our lessons so that's gas.  Also I finished the BoM for the 3½ time since being out here. You learn something new every time you read that thing I swear. It's starting to get annoying how smart I am. Sometimes my brain is overflowing out of my skull. It's so large that I sit on it like a chair. Then i study more books on that chair I have made out of my own knowledge. It's almost like I could beat you in an arm wrestle but with my brain tissue. Very large brain.  .... So me and Elder Yardley crashed the equinox this week. Ditches can be deceiving. We wanted to drive not in the ditch. And then boom Elder Yardley was like hey let me do what we are trying to not do. And yeah. I laughed and laughed. Like a good companion should. Let me tell you. If I was in like a burning building, I might laugh. Because I have trained all my life for these kinds of situations let me tell you. I would laugh until I started burning to death. Then I would cry. But maybe crying is the move. Because I would put the fire out with my tears. See. I told you I've been preparing for this.  "Next time you're in a house fire sit in the corner and weep." Subject: The average person thinks they're smarter than the average person  I bought a 56 oz bag of cOLosSal bErRY cRUnCh!  Which is a great value brand of captain crunch The guy who made it was like " hey you know how people don't have feeling on the roof of their mouth?" And all the other quacks at the board meeting were like "yeH make the cereal nice and pointy and crusty" Anyways it just shows how much I like cereal because I'll eat it anyways even if it's painful. I have no idea how people eat cereal by itself without any milk. That's like eating waffles without syrup. Can you imagine making waffles on a Saturday morning and you have everything laid out on the table and you're all good to go and then you go to grab the syrup and then boom. There's no syrup. Only a sinner would not drive to the dollar general to get syrup.     Down here in the bible belt I've got a nice cool bag that I bought today. I can quick whiiiiip out a pamphlet, wipp open it up flip read a lil scripture yesir cartwheel away hup  Now you know how to go street contacting. I've done lots of that this week Elder Yardley and I taught 50 lessons and found 25 new people!! Yeah!  One day we talked to 75+ people! What can I say. Alma and Amulek would be proud.  It has been a real blessing to be out here doing what I'm passionate about. It gives me a purpose and a goal to look forward to. I have heard people say that they didn't set new years goals this year. They say that it doesn't help them. I personally think this is the wrong way of going about it.  Just pretend life is a video game. Keep trying until you get it. It's like an intense platformer or puzzle, when you put the wrong piece in a puzzle you don't say, "well, I've failed, I'm not good at it". "It's just not my thing". stop being a noob and realize that things take practice. Brad wilcox said, "in piano are the only two options: performing at carnegie hall, or giving up?" No. What I'm trying to say is pretend life is like Mario bros. Dude. I've never tried a level once and then given up because it was too hard. You know why?  Because it was FUN. Try setting some fun goals for a change. Mark Rober gave an excellent Ted talk about this. Maybe try watching that, he says it much better than me. My Dad is a great example of setting goals. He always sets really s.m.a.r.t. goals. He knows what's up. Ok. Sorry for the lecture. Goals are important. Subject: Eli Whitney is pretty cool. He invented the cotton gin  Listen up kids time for a song.  This is called the ballad of last week So last week me and Elder Yardley where walking up and down a side street off the 301 in Smithfield, we were talking about how someone left a toy bicycle on the hood of a truck. All of the sudden. I hear a kids voice: " we want to hear the word!!!" We looked back in surprise to see three teenage dudes approaching us. I think they had been following us.  Anyways they later told us that if we had been Jehovah witnesses that they would have made fun of us. Thanks goodness we're in a good Christian neighborhood.  So the kid that was the most interested was Luis. And Luis we later ended up teaching while he and his brother were leaning out of the bedroom window of their house. Pretty sick. Anyways Luis has a mustache and he's like 16ish or 17.  And that is the end of the story.  You know sometimes I envision a time and a place where all can roam free and not be judged about how many boxing gloves they have. If a man has more than two pairs of boxing gloves I think people might judge him. So maybe don't. Maybe he has them for an unknown purpose. Here is some reasons why I stayed on a mission: ********************************************* I saw the massive amount of good the Gospel of Jesus Christ can do in a persons life, and I saw the mediocrity of living without it.  Friends.  Family.  Noah. I want to bear my witness as a missionary and a full time disciple of Christ. That you can't fake the spirit. I cannot deny the confirming testimony of the spirit, that Christ lives today. That God loves you, and that you are never too far gone. There is always a way back. He will welcome you with open arms, and so will I. Joseph Smith was a prophet. And the book of mormon is true. I can never accept, that God stopped talking to us.  This is me being uncharacteristically serious, but I believe with my whole heart that this is the work of God, and if nothing else, I'm trying my best.   Like Elder Holland said, answer your questions don't ignore them, but first and foremost Fan the flame of your faith.
