What it do ladies and and goons
I've had a crazy week sorry the email gets out late but there's just so many spelling mistakes it takes my mom a week to fix them all. So actually you're getting an email from last week.
Just kidding the reason that the email is late is that I've given out so many Book of Mormons and when I hand them over I turn a corner down so they can read that chapter, but as I do, it slices a teensy tinsy paper cut on my thumb and after all the books I hand out my thumbs are both clean off. So I have to type this with my pointer fingers like a 40 yr old.
Not really.
The thing that actually happened is I have no internet here in the nowheresville town of Roanoke rapids which means I have to send a pigeon with my letter. I usually send it all the way to Utah which takes at least a couple hours but then my mom has to let the bird in the house AND teach it to type up my email for you guys.
Jk lol that would be ridiculous.
The real reason my email doesn't get to you on time is the missiom president has to approve my emails. I know right? Crazy. And also you know whats worse? He won't even allow a single curse word in my emails. I mean come on wheres the color? So I usually type out my whole email and send it to the mission office and president has to read the WHOLE thing to make sure there's nothing "inappropriate" in my email.
But that's not what takes long, pres. is a fast editor. He just is a germaphobe so he won't touch the keyboard. Like he won't even get close. So he has to be like a block away and read my email from his phone and tell it to his assistant who tells it to a zone leader who tells it to a district leader who tells it to a greenie who presses the voice to text button on the keyboard and tells it to the computer.
Then they can send the email out.
Anyways I baptized a homeless guy yesterday. Well technically he has a place to stay now. And a job and a bike. And a church. Which is very sweet. It's cool to see how the Lord really blesses people's lives and turns them around. Like two weeks ago this guy had walked more then 90 miles from Raleigh and was sleeping on the street. We had run into him at Uptown Roanoke rapids. Now he has quit smoking and has an income and a home and is baptized. He is really on his feet now physically and spiritually. It's great to be an instrument in the Lord's hands in helping someone.
Love you guys
Keep bean cool
