What a special treat you all are getting this week! A letter from your favorite missionary?!! ??!
Also I just am very glad i have had this opportunity to serve a mission in North Carolina. It's a good place to contain me I believe.
I have also had many encounters with some strange fellows here on the east half of the states. There are many people that say things to me and I am so astonished that I am just a dumbfounded boy. There are many a times when I have to just blink at them. And not say words or letters.
On the other hand, I have been in a bunch of homes and a ton of apartments. Looking back those have been some awkward times I have to say, and if I wasn't a missionary I would never ever ever put myself in these situations, but boom. Here I am, and there i was. To paint a picture of these scenes, it's usually right when we walk into a home and they don't say "have a seat" or they just leave us to go to the bathroom and we are just ballin. And by ballin- I mean standing there with our arms to our sides lookimg around the room pretending to not be thinking that we're about to be murdered in North freaking Carolina, not even south Carolina. Thankfully nobody has succeeded in killing me yet.
Many have tried, and failed. I'm and the Jason Bourne of missionaries. I guess uou could say I'm Bourne again. Ahahaha
Yeah so just kiddung nobody had tried to kill me, and if they have they did a terrible job, because I didn't even notice.
Anyways, this week I have been reading a lot of some of the revelations that early church prophets received, and I have learned a great deal. I would suggest taking a small gander at the doctrine and covenants or unpublished revelations.
I would have to say that despite a lot of people's beliefs, I do believe that God is real. And I also believe He loves you and me. Maybe I notice His hand more because I am actively involved in this religion-heavy work and Im looking for these confirmations of His reality, but hey who knows. I love you all appropriately
