 Subject: The problem with zone leaders

Hey guys what's going on? 

It is your favorite man! I have decided to grace you with another email! This month has been super wild and I have loved Greenville. In the past my zone leaders in greenville were: Elder Havell, Elder Yuen, Elder Crismon, Elder Wilson, Elder Ricks, Elder Marley. The reason there are so many is because this is my second round in Greenville. I don't expect these names to mean anything to you, but the reason I'm telling you this is because the next zone leader of Greenville will be... Elder Bush! Me! Which is super crazy that they would call me to be a zone leader for my last six weeks, but whatever. I honestly thought that I had avoided this call but I think President Stevens is kind of grasping the bottom of the barrel here, haha! Anyways I am super super nervous because I have always just been a district leader which is still mission leadership but just less responsibility. Now i have to worry about a lot more missionaries which stresses me out! Also I don't even know who my companion will be...so . What if he is a real nut? Who knows what will happen in the next episode of Elder Bush's adventures? Honestly I just need to trust that things will work out and that I will get whoever the Lord wants me to get. I figured out who's getting transferred and I think i have some pretty cool options of who my companion will be. 

In other news Macy got baptized and the ysa took her to the temple. The Greenville area is popping off out here! That makes like 3 weeks in a row that people were baptized in our ward! Also Judy's daughter also wants to works towards baptism and tonight we helped her pick a date out in August! She will get baptized on August 26th! Save the date everyone

Love yall a lot! I will hopefully be hearing from yall soon! Also I've said this before but make sure that if you want to get ahold of me then you can email me, and I will respond on p day! Subject: What Disney princess are you? Me personally, gotta go with Shrek What can I say ladies and boys? Just an honest and hard working man. Nothing more nothing less. Yessiree Bob.  So I have a couple new people on the email list, and they are in for a fun surprise. They are about to find out that I am clinically insane. But not to worries fine folks! It's all in good jest and fun.  Here is a recap of all the stupid things i have done on my mission. (In chronological order) In the MTC I had the bright and smart idea to wear the same tie everyday for my whole entire mission. I am still going strong. The tie is going less strong.  In Smithfield I scraped paint off of an old man's countertop with a kitchen knife, during a lesson.  I also bullied my trainer and told him he was fat. He told me I looked like ichabod crane from the side. (Touché Harry, Touché) Also in my training area I wore chairs on my head constantly because they were fun and I mistook them for hats. -Picture attached In Roanoke Rapids I left a pickle on someone's porch and I watched as madness insued. That one I do not regret. The whole family was confused and scared. I will not be doing it again because part of the repentance process is to forsake your sins. That sin and experience has been left on the alter.  Also Roanoke Rapids I did increasingly heavier and heavier deadlifts until I found my limit. To be honest it was not worth it.  A did a few more things in Roanoke Rapids but I will leave them out of the email because they were too stupid to share. My next area was Durham. I was not any less stupid. I was going through a pretty rough time in durham and I dealt with it by not talking to my companion and making terrible jokes. I also made knives with a member. That last part I do not regret because it was super dope.  I got transferred to west fayetville after that where I hit my year mark and was reunited with my trainer. He wasn't my companion instead he was my zone leader. We hung out all the time, it was great. Some stupid stuff I did included: making a goal with my companion to bike every day of the transfer, and making a pumpkin scarecrow on Halloween that did a really good job of not only scaring the crows away but scaring the landlord into making us move houses. We moved from a house to a small one-bedroom apartment. The members were super cool there tho. One more thing I did right before i left fayetville was I slipped and fell on some ice right outside a members home and cut my hand clean in half basically. Then we went inside and had a gingerbread house competition. (I won) sorry to the Jeffersons daughter who totally thought she was gonna win. It's ok tho because she got a parrot for Christmas.  Next I went to Creedmoor. Creedmoor is a little bit north of Raleigh. We played a bunch of Disc golf and now I'm incredibly good. So good in fact, that I'm going to challenge Tiago (Elder Mello) at it when I get home. Apparently he is cracked at it. Anyways yeah so Creedmoor was grand. And I helped baptized a guy with one leg. That wasn't stupid but it was cool to mention. I also helped fix a dirt bike while I was there with some other elders. First time fixing one of those things. The last stupid thing I did in Creedmoor was I tried muscle cupping for the first time, and basically what that is, is you suction cup little jars or cups to your back or chest or wherever you need extra circulation and then boom. Stuff happens. I'm not going to pretend that i know what it does or that it's even helpful at all, but my dad is a doctor so you can trust me. I also totally burnt myself with the jars because I held the lighter too long on one of them. It was a fun experience, but stupid.  And now Greenvile. Or G vegas, as the kids say. Greenville is lit, and I've already done a bunch of stupid stuff here.  I had a district council where all we did was eat cereal, and I also stacked a bunch of boxes of granola bars at a food bank until the supervisor yelled at me. I also juggled melons at the same place and I gave president Maurer a pink tie so he could remember me. -Another thing that I definitely don't regret, but it IS a little weird hehe. So yeah I think I've made my mark here in North Carolina. And the average IQ for a North Carolinian has dropped significantly since I have been here.  I think my work here is done haha.   I actually do have a lot more work to do, atm we have 3 people on date and they need a lot more preparation. Things are popping off here in g vegas!  I will attach a bunch of pictures make sure you only look at the picture and don't read the email because it's long and boring  E. BUSH  Also my brother came to visit last week  And it was good. At least it wasn't my cousin

I have been a sick man this week. It all started when I drank the mud puddle water.

I have learned my lesson. But don't worry about your boy. It was only a sore throat at first, and then my nose was stuffed and also runny at the same time, which has always confused me. But after a few days of that, I've gotten a little better. I think I'm on the better end of it now. 

But enough about me, let's talk about who I'm teaching. First off is this super stellar guy named Luis. He is a good man. He is getting baptized July 1st. He has been coming to church for the past 5 weeks. He has a really cool story and his family is cool too. 

Next is Macy, she is a girl that has been waiting to get baptized for years and years but her parents didn't allow it. She finally got her parents permission and she is super excited about it. It is cool to be on this end of her journey. It has been super hard for her but she is a trooper

 

I'm teaching a bunch more people but the only other person I'll mention is Judy. Judy has been taught by the missionaries in Utah Germany. The elders before me actually just ran into her while knocking so that's pretty cool. But now that we are seriously teaching her and she has been settling goals and making plans to become a member things are getting pretty stressful and hard for her so make sure to pray for her and definitely Macy and Luis too! 

I am not going to lie to yall I am excited to go home and see my family. I have around 12 weeks left and I'm going to try my best to squeeze every last minute out of them. I feel like sometimes I get lazy so I really need some help and prayers. If anyone has any anti lazy advice: drop it on me! 

Also I have been working out a little again, I may have told yall that in Creedmoor I worked out a lot my last transfer but when I got to Greenville I didn't have a routine so I was just a bum. Thankfully I'm getting on top of it again and maybe I'll have a muscles for the summer. That is if I can control my diet. I will keep yall updated on that haha. That's honestly the biggest challenge about fitness. 

I don't have any stories that I'm going to share, I feel like a lot of things have happened but they aren't grand enough to share with yall. 

But hey, maybe next week.

Subject: A bar of gold for your troubles sir?  Guys and friends, how are all of you doing this fine evenin? My first email in a while :) I hope the lot of you are enjoying your time here on this planet. I know I like it. Other times I hate it all. Here is one of those times:      So today I was at "play it again sports" which is a store that sells stuff when you want to play sports. The sport that I play the most is probably basketball. But the second most played sport is disc golf. And today was the day ladies and gentlemen. Today I was going yo walk in, slam my wallet on the counter, grab the sad employee by the nape of his neck, and have him show me where all the disc's were. So anyways that more or less is what I did and, with me and 3 other elders already on his good side, we were ready to buy some plastic.  We browsed the lot of discs. We found some super good ones. We also found some very sucky boys. But we bought the good ones. At the very end of my adventurous searching, I leaned my shins up against a table, which was up against a huge metal rack. This metal rack had a bunch of baseball helmets on them. Stacked and ordered very nicely. It was at this moment exactly that I saw things roll forward, because apparently. The table. Was on wheels everybody. Wheelers. So I'm sure you can venture as to what came to pass next. The rack fell over and all the stupid baseball helmets with their stupid clips and and dumb little holes on the side came tumbling down. It was a lot like the foolish man who built his house upon the sand you know. So yeah after I ruined a whole display I looked at the cashier and I saw his sad eyes and face. He was a mad guy what can I say. He waltzed over and started beating me with his bare fists. I took a beating right there in the sports store. He knew where the baseball bats were and he was just tryna get me bro. So yeah he was super mad, and after he assaulted me, he went over and cleaned all of it up and I cried.  And I only cry about VERY important things. If you've seen me cry you're a real one. And also you're on my hit list because thats the most embarrassing thing ever.  So anyways after that, we checked out, and went to panda express to get my mind of the travesty of what had just happened. It was dumb. And i don't even think the wheels were locked into place so.... the worker guy is to blame for all this.  Also.i_am_incredibly_clumsy.com So that could also have something to do with it.  But anyways now i live in Greenville and I have a companion named elder Potter. I will attach a picture. He is a goober. We are teaching a lot of people. The work is hard and I'm having a good time. It's good to be back in the Greenville stake.  Shoutout to bert, brother Diettrich, brother Given, and the Lewis's for being here last time I was in Greenville. Only the OGs stick around :) Yes. Subject: How do people do their taxes without dying  Howdy gentleman and ladies. Do I have your attention?  If so: well gee whiz, thanks a bunch.  This week Elder Hall and I had a bunch of lessons scheduled and almost ALL of then fell through! How tragic. Even some of our dinners canceled too, more than one. Which is unusual. So we ate dinner all by our lonesome selves in the apartment. Anyways we did have some successes this week: we ran into this old lady named Darlene, and she said she wanted to come to church which was cool, but it was even cooler when she actually came! We gave her a church tour on Saturday, and then we walked her to church Sunday. Some people may say to themselves: " I can't even believe it" but it is true I tell you.  When we had our church tour on Saturday we asked one of our recent converts to come, and he was totally down to come. Mickey- if you have been paying attention to my mail- is our recent convert and he got along do well with Darlene! It was a Christmas miracle my friends. Mickey slayed  And then Darlene sat next to Mickey at church too! Let's gooooo In other news we went out to dinner with the Smiths tonight and I ate a whole pizza by myself.
