Back into the fray
We have a good old mix of people we have been teaching. Me and Elder SEVERSON
found 22 new people this week. We've really been dropping people and finding people and dropping and finding.
It's like me and my comp are a giant filter that only keeps the people that are ready and sifts through all the people in RR.
Soon we're gonna call pres. Maurer and be like "we’re done" and he's gonna say "with what?" And we'd do a little half smile at eachother and then say "with Roanoke rapid" and he would jump and clap and dance around and then transfer both of us to the mission office where we just make calls and hand out Mints all day.
Just kidding, we're not even close to meeting all the people in Roanoke Rapids. Even tho this is a small town, we have a lot of work to do.
Here's a good story, me and my comp got a call to go clean out a house so we went and cleaned out all the demo and debris. But right at the end I was carrying some cinderblocks and one of the construction workers that was around saw me and he was like "strong kid"
And I stood up a little straighter.
And I was like YEAH I STRONG KID"
But not out loud. He probably would've thought I was a big old dingus if I had done that. Anyways lots of service opportunities and lots of miracles happen in this town.
I have learned that people will ask you to come over to do something even if they could've done it themselves 10 times over.
A broken collarbone is no excuse to have us do that stuff.- I'm talking to you brother Hansen
Jk I really love serving people. The people that I love serving the most are the most grateful. I might've mentioned their names before but the fortier's, (pronounced "4-T-A") are the best of the best. They never fail to feed us and always give us stuff.
